The singing battle was fierce but Ramos was able to land a spot straight to the finals after 93 of the 100 judges stood up during his performance in the August 24 episode.After his performance, Ramos is now being referred to as the &quot;little man with huge voice&quot; by the show&#x27;s judges.Ramos is an opera tenor by profession and used to perform in several concerts in the Philippines and Europe. A graduate of Bachelor in Secondary Education in Music at Philippine Normal University, he also had an extension course for vocal performance at University of Santo Tomas and became a music teacher at Miriam College high school level for three years. He then went to Barcelona and took masteral studies at Conservatori del Liceu and at the Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya in Barcelona -- all in his 3 years of stay in Spain.Ramos said his performance last August 24 on Channel 5 was nerve-wracking, as it was his first time to join a reality TV singing competition. Ramos came to Denmark last April 2018 after being scouted during his performance in “The Magic Flute” in Barcelona, Spain. He got a job offer in Denmark and pursued his opera career in the land of the Vikings. But just like other foreigners, the language barrier is a big challenge for him. Ramos is fluent in Spanish aside from Tagalog and English.&quot;Danish language is very hard but I&#x27;m learning and I just came here in Denmark last year, but I can understand some of the judges&#x27; comments on my performance. I answered in English kasi on the spot siya. I&#x27;m currently on DU3 Module 3 and after my shows, I’ll be back to language school to continue my study because my upcoming shows will be in Danish,&quot; Ramos said.He had recently performed several roles in &quot;Michael Kohlhaas,&quot; which is part of the Danish Opera&#x27;s Series inspired by Danish composer Paul August von Klenau held last August 21-24 at Aarhus, Denmark. Ramos is now getting ready for his second annual Christmas concert at Theatre Museum in the Court Theatre Christiansborg Palace on November 29. He also works as a church singer in Saint John’s Church in Copenhagen.In an exclusive interview with TFC’s Balitang Global, Ramos said he was encouraged to join the reality TV singing competition by a friend when it was announced that the show was looking for opera singers.&quot;My friend sent me the link and the application to fill out.. and when ATN invited me during the personal audition, lahat ng dates na nasa website nila hindi ako pwede because I have a show in Puerto Rico so sabi ko sa kanila sorry, i-ca-cancel ko na lang kasi wala talaga ako dito sa Denmark. But the production called me again and gave me another date, so feeling ko it&#x27;s a sign na i-go ko na kasi binigyan nila ako nang consideration,&quot; he said.He is the first Filipino who performed an opera song in the show and who secured a spot straight to the finals.&quot;All Together Now Denmark&quot; is a BBC format franchised by Discovery Networks Denmark, which airs every Saturday, 9 p.m. (CEST) at Kanal 5. It is also available in their digital platform at Dplay.dk.
