MANILA -- Onscreen partners John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo were seen together watching &quot;Himala: Isang Musikal&quot; on Saturday at Circuit Makati.&quot;Himala&quot; is the iconic musical by Ricky Lee and Vincent de Jesus adapted from Ishmael Bernal&#x27;s classic film of the same title. It follows the story of a barrio lass named Elsa, played by Nora Aunor in the 1982 movie, who becomes a faith healer and regarded as savior who could uplift the lives of her townfolks mired in poverty and superstition. It was produced by Star Cinema and directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. It&#x27;s sequel, &quot;A Second Chance,&quot; was released in 2015.In &quot;Himala,&quot; Robinson alternates with Sandino Martin in the role of Pilo, the former lover of Chayong in Barrio Cupang.
