MANILA – Kapamilya stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will not be where they are today without help from their respective mothers, Min Bernardo and Karla Estrada.

Bernardo and Estrada co-manage the careers of their respective children, as shared in the new book “How to Raise a Superstar” by former ABS-CBN reporter Niña Corpuz.

The two are quite hands-on as well, even if their kids are already of age.

“The book is about my interviews with parents of superstars,” Corpuz, now a host on the radio station DZMM, said of her first book.

Estrada is part of showbiz herself as a host of the ABS-CBN morning program “Magandang Buhay.”

And while KathNiel fans will surely be interested in her new book as it offers tips from Bernardo and Estrada, Corpuz stressed that everyone will learn something important about parenting from “How to Raise a Superstar.”

“The book is for the fans, but not just for the fans. It’s also for the parents. These moms, despite having celebrity kids and having celebrity status themselves, are not any different from ordinary parents like us. They have the same dreams and goals for their kids,” she explained.

“Ang superstar naman is not just about being a celebrity. You can be a superstar in whatever field you take.”

“How to Raise a Superstar” which will soon be formally launched by ABS-CBN Publishing.
