MANILA – Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is hoping to release her own book, following in the footsteps of her pageant mentor, Jonas Gaffud.

The beauty queen said she will soon pitch her ideas to ABS-CBN Publishing, which also published Gaffud’s “The Crown: Your Essential Guide to Becoming a Beauty Queen.”

“Ipi-pitch ko siya sa ABS-CBN Publishing and if they like it, we’ll do it,” Wurtzbach told ABS-CBN News entertainment reporter Gretchen Fullido on Monday, shortly after her contract signing with the Kapamilya network.

Wurtzbach did not give further details, only saying that her book will not be a biography. “I’m still conceptualizing it and I’ll share more when it’s ready,” she said.

The country’s third Miss Universe titleholder made her return to ABS-CBN on Monday, signing a two-year contract. She started her showbiz career in the Kapamilya network at the age of 14, under the screen name Pia Romero.

Wurtzbach is now part of the ABS-CBN noontime shows “It’s Showtime” and “ASAP,” and is preparing for a movie with Vice Ganda and Daniel Padilla.
