<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2018/news/11/05/20181105-ateneo-chamber-singers.jpg?ext=.jpg"/></figure></div>MANILA -- The Ateneo Chamber Singers bagged several awards at the recently concluded recently concluded 7th Canta al mar - Festival Coral Internacional in Calella, Spain.The choir received a Gold VIII diploma and was declared champion in the Sacred Music A Capella category, as well as a Gold VII Diploma and champion in the Chamber Choirs of Mixed Voices category.The Ateneo Chamber Singers competed against 11 other choirs in the Sacred Music A Capella category and four other choirs in the Mixed Chamber Choir category.The choir, likewise, received the highest scores of all choirs in the festival.The festival, which was held from October 24 to 28, welcomed 42 choirs from 22 countries.The Ateneo Chamber Singers is currently in Tolosa, Spain for the 50th Tolosa International Choral Contest from October 29 to November 5.
