MANILA -- The country's "local jeje girl" Mimiyuuuh was hailed as YouTube Philippines' top emerging creator in 2019, beating several television personalities who have started to transition to the online video platform this year.

Mimiyuuh, a vlogger who has been posting funny videos and challenges, has accumulated nearly 2 million subscribers on YouTube 11 months since she first uploaded a video on the platform in February.

The Gold Squad, composed of "Kadenang Ginto" stars Francine Diaz, Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri and Seth Fedelin, ranked second with 1.6 million subscribers.

Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador, who launched her YouTube channel in October, placed third with 648,000 subscribers.
