MANILA -- Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray should prepare for the numerous responsibilities that come with her Mikomoto crown, former Filipina pageant winners Gloria Diaz and Margie Moran said Tuesday.Both Diaz and Moran lived in the United States when they were hailed Miss Universe in 1969 and 1973, respectively.&quot;It’s not all glamour. Catriona has to know that it’s a job and she’s going to be very busy,&quot; Moran told ANC&#x27;s &quot;Headstart,&quot; recalling that she traveled 3 to 4 times a week from New York, where she was based during her reign.&quot;It’s really tiring. You can lose your patience and you just have to know that you’re doing this for your country and it’s a job to do, a responsibility,&quot; she said.Noting that &quot;things have changed now,&quot; Diaz observed that Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach was in Manila a lot during her term, unlike her who went back only once.&quot;First of all, you live abroad and you cannot have your daily massage in Manila. I lived in Miami, but every weekend, they’d bring me to New York to shop,&quot; she said.&quot;Things are changing because now they have a new owner of Miss Universe and maybe it will be an entirely different ballgame,&quot; she added.Gray, 24, was crowned Miss Universe on Monday, making her the fourth Filipina to be given the title. She wore a fiery red gown inspired by the Mayon Volcano of her home province Albay and ear cuffs symbolizing the &quot;three stars and the sun&quot; of the flag.During the final question, Gray was asked &quot;What is the most important lesson you&#x27;ve learned in your life and how would you apply it to your time as Miss Universe?&quot;She replied: &quot;I work a lot in the slums of Tondo, Manila and the life there is... it&#x27;s poor and very sad. And I&#x27;ve always taught myself to look for the beauty of it, to look for beauty in the faces of the children and to be grateful. And I would bring this aspect as a Miss Universe, to see situations with a silver lining, and to assess where I could give something, where I could provide something as a spokesperson. If I could teach also people to be grateful, we could have an amazing world where negativity could not grow and foster, and children would have a smile on their faces. Thank you.&quot;
