Mabanglo, EPA-EFE.</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA <strong>(UPDATE)</strong> — ABS-CBN news personality Mario Dumaual and OPM singer Juan Karlos were included in the 2023 Top Trending Searches in the Philippines, as presented by Google.</p><p>Dumaual took the 6th spot in the Farewell category, while Juan Karlos got in the 9th spot for male personalities and his hit song &quot;ERE&quot; in one of its episodes.</p><p>Google Philippines Head of Communications and Public Affairs Mervin Wenke said the company came up with its list after looking at an aggregate of data from January to Q4 to see what Filipinos have Googled for the year.</p><p>Wenke noted that interest in K-Drama is unique to the Philippines.</p><p>“That’s not present in other countries in Southeast Asia and it really speaks volumes about Filipinos’ love for Hallyu or the Korean wave,” Wenke said.</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/12/05/23/google-says-kathniel-dominated-search-in-ph">Google says ‘KathNiel’ dominated search in PH</a></li></ul><p>Google also noted that TV shows and movies available on streaming platforms earned more places on this year’s lists, which lines up with the steady growth of online media consumption as projected in this year’s eConomy SEA Report.</p><p>&quot;These top 10 lists serve as a record of the many events and issues that people have gotten caught up in over the year,&quot;
