Will Isabelle Daza ever join a beauty pageant?

MANILA -- Even before Pia Wurtzbach became only the third Filipino to win the Miss Universe crown, many pageant observers believe that Isabelle Daza should also try her luck in a beauty contest.

After all, Daza is the daughter of Gloria Diaz, the country's first-ever Miss Universe winner.

Kris Aquino brought up the topic again when Daza appeared on "Kris TV" on Tuesday.

"Honestly, no. It's not my thing," Daza told Aquino.

"But Pia did a great job. Nasa plane ako when it happened," added Daza who recently arrived from Argentina.

Daza, who will be seen in the upcoming series "Tubig at Langis" with Cristine Reyes and Zanjoe Marudo, has been consistent in saying that she is not keen on joining beauty pageants.

"I don't want to be in a competition to prove that I'm the most beautiful because I don't feel the need to do that," Daza said.
