Manny Pacquiao.In a video posted on his Facebook page, Oriel Ballano, founder and senior pastor of Doulos for Christ World Harvest Ministry, led a group of people in burning Nike shoes after the sports megabrand <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/02/18/16/nike-axes-pacquiao-over-gay-slurs">dropped</a> Pacquiao as one of its endorsers.&quot;Burn the Nike sole for my soul,&quot; exclaimed Ballano.As the group burned pairs of Nike shoes, they chanted &quot;We support Manny Pacquiao.&quot;In the text accompanying his video on Facebook, Ballano called for a boycott of Nike products.However, after earning more than 5,000 shares, the video is no longer available on Facebook. It is not clear whether it was deleted by Ballano or Facebook users reported it and had it taken down.Nike <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/02/17/16/nike-drops-manny-pacquiao-reports">announced</a> early Thursday morning that it has dropped Manny Pacquiao as an endorser.In a statement, the sports megabrand said that it finds the boxer&#x27;s comments &quot;abhorrent,&quot; and that it does not condone &quot;discrimination of any kind.&quot;&quot;We find Manny Pacquiao&#x27;s comments abhorrent. Nike strongly opposes discrimination of any kind and has a long history of supporting and standing up for the rights of the LGBT community,&quot; Nike said in a statement.&quot;We no longer have a relationship with Manny Pacquiao,&quot; the statement added.
