MANILA – The eldest son of Senator Bongbong Marcos has finally reacted to comments saying that he looks a lot like singer Charice.

Sandro Marcos replied to one of Charice's Twitter posts promoting the latest issue of Mega Man, where she appears on the cover. Charice came out as a lesbian several years ago.

"So apparently we look alike!" Sandro wrote, tagging Charice's Twitter account. "More respect and more success to you."

Last week, Charice said she is not bothered at all by the increasing comparisons to Marcos.

The singer said she already noticed that she and Marcos look similar to a certain extent even before the issue came out.

"We went to Vigan for a vacation at pinuntahan namin 'yung historical [places] about former president Marcos at pinuntahan namin 'yung lolo niya (Sandro) and I was like, 'kamukha ko siya, ano?' So doon pa lang, sinabi ko na,” she said.

"So when I saw all these comments about Sandro, I knew it was coming. Although hindi ako nagfi-feeling. Pero sabi ko nga, I don't mind, I don't care. Alam naman natin ang mga Pinoy, the first thing they will do is compare you sa kung sino ang kamukha mo," she added.

Marcos caught the attention of netizens during the vice presidential campaign of his father early this year.

Charice, on the other hand, is considered one of the best singers in the country. She was once dubbed by Oprah Winfrey as the "Most Talented Girl in the World."
