<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/news-special1/lifestyle/7/1/susano-1.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">Once her birth records have been verified by international bodies, Francisca Susano could be the world’s oldest living person at 118.</div></figcaption></figure></div><p>PALAWAN - A Palawan grandmother could be the world&#x27;s oldest person at 118 years old.</p><p>Francisca Susano of Puerto Princesa City was born on September 11, 1897 in Negros, according to her birth certificate. </p><p>Once her birth records have been verified by international bodies, such as the Gerontology Research Group or Guinness World Records, she could be officially recognized as the world&#x27;s oldest living person.</p><p>Currently, the recognized world&#x27;s oldest person is Emma Morano of Italy, as confirmed by Guinness World Records. She is 116 years old and was born on November 29, 1899.</p><p>ABS-CBN News was able to secure a copy of Susano&#x27;s birth certificate.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/news-special1/lifestyle/7/1/susano-birth-cert.jpg"/></figure></div><p>Susano, who is based in Palawan but is in Negros at the moment to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, said she mostly eats fruits and vegetables.</p><p>She also loves to play the flute to relieve stress.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/news-special1/lifestyle/7/1/susano-2.jpg"/></figure></div><p>Susano and other centenarians in the Philippines will be the recipient of a cash grant of P100,000 each from the government following the passage of the Centenarian Act of 2016 signed by President Benigno S.
