MANILA  -- Kapamilya star Darren Espanto shared how he enjoys hopping on the trend of guys wearing a cropped top.

According to Espanto, it has become part of his style, noting that cropped tops are now defying gender norms.

“It’s important to be comfortable in what you wear. Normal naman na siya eh… Nai-inspire rin ako sa mga co-host ko,” Espanto said.

Influenced by his male co-hosts who now also wear cropped tops, the Kapamilya singer shared that he even altered some of his old clothes as cropped tops.

“‘Yung mga parang medyo maluwag tapos parang awkward ‘yung frame sa katawan ko, pinapa-crop ko. Okay naman siya, bumabagay naman,” Espanto said.

When asked about his Halloween plans, Espanto said he has no plans for now aside from work.

“Hopefully, kahit konting Halloween party lang… with friends and family,” he said.
