Karen Flores Layno, ABS-CBN News</span> </span></span></span></div><p>SINGAPORE -- Disney Cruise Line (DCL) has unveiled its first Asia-based ship, promising a memorable vacation at sea for people of all ages as well as unique regional offerings. </p><p>Disney Adventure is the first of DCL&#x27;s upcoming additions to its growing fleet (a total of 13 ships by 2031 from the current 5), and will have its maiden voyage from Singapore on December 15, 2025.</p><p>&quot;It&#x27;s our first-ever ship to set sail in Asia,&quot; Sharon Siskie, DCL senior vice president and general manager, said during their recent media launch event at Marina Bay Sands. </p><p>&quot;We&#x27;re incredibly thankful for our collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) who have helped make all of this possible, and to our talented team of cast, crew, and imagineers,&quot; she added. </p><p>DCL&#x27;s partnership with STB was first revealed in 2023. DCL representatives said prices will be announced in mid-November.</p><p>&quot;It will include something for everyone on board,&quot; said DCL vice president and regional general manager for Southeast Asia Sarah Fox. &quot;We have also handpicked experiences unique to Asia, some of which are a first for Disney Cruise Line.&quot;</p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FabscbnNEWS%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02AmhZcrJHKuw7MgPL4k2rUQEauPouEeoGBEGayNejBnyyDEjCRY2NSShiYmkeGSuBl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500" width="500" height="754" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>Among the unique offerings of Disney Adventure is &quot;Remember,&quot; a &quot;musical spectacular&quot; featuring heroes, princesses, and other Disney and Pixar characters.</p><p>This will be shown on the ship&#x27;s own theater along with &quot;Disney Seas the Adventure,&quot; a DCL signature show. </p><p>&quot;It&#x27;s a heartfelt tale of love and longing starring the adorable robot couple from Pixar&#x27;s &#x27;Wall-E,&#x27;&quot; said Jenny Weinbloom, vice president for live entertainment at Disney Signature Experiences. </p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?height=314&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FabscbnNEWS%2Fvideos%2F3993758860899421%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=560&amp;t=0" width="560" height="314" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><strong>Asian offerings, adventure zone</strong></div><p>Guests on board the Disney Adventure ship can enjoy dishes inspired by the region, or grab Asian bites and beverages such as bubble tea. </p><p>One of the themed restaurants here is Mike &amp; Sulley&#x27;s Flavors of Asia -- an elegant take on the Japanese-style eatery featured in Pixar&#x27;s &quot;Monsters Inc.&quot; -- which will offer sushi, sashimi, and Omakase-style dining, among others. </p><p>&quot;We&#x27;ll continue the rotational dining concept, where guests will visit 7 themed restaurants throughout their cruise, accompanied by a dedicated service team,&quot; said DCL senior manager of dining standards and service excellence Daniel Cowan. &quot;All guests are guaranteed a seat and dining time without the need to queue.&quot; </p><p>Disney Adventure is also set to be the first cruise ship to offer an adventure zone at sea.
