Another Lego store is opening in Manila this weekend and it will feature uniquely Filipino elements.

Located at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, the new Lego Certified Store will open its doors to the public on Saturday, October 26. The shop is a result of a partnership between The Lego Group and Ban Kee Trading Inc.

Justin Bautista, Ban Kee Trading's sales and marketing manager, said their aim is to showcase Filipino culture through creative play.

"We wanted to incorporate what makes our Filipino culture unique into the in-store experience," Bautista said in a statement. "Filipinos value strong family bonds and a sense of community, so we've infused these elements into the store experience and created an environment that feels welcoming and familiar to the Filipino Lego fans."

"Ultimately, we want our guests to build not just bricks, but also memories that reflect our identity," he added.

Visitors of Lego Certified Store Manila Bay can find a "mamang sorbetero" or ice cream vendor, the Philippines' first Lego 3D model. The colorful model, which captures Filipino street life, comes with an ice cream cart that includes three flavors.

Shoppers will also be greeted by a Lego Graphics Mural Wall featuring iconic landmarks such as the Mayon volcano and the Lion Head of Baguio, as well as cultural symbols like the barong Tagalog and the Philippine eagle.

On top of these is the launch of the first-ever Lego Passport in the Philippines, allowing customers to collect stamps from various Lego stores. This program will be available in-store until November 8.
