While many were disappointed, her supporters remained proud of her remarkable journey.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/2024/11/17/chelsea-manalo-misses-miss-universe-2024-top-12-cut-1047">Chelsea Manalo misses Miss Universe 2024 Top 12 cut</a></div><p>“So proud of Chelsea pa rin kasi talagang ginawa niya ang best niya, and wala ako nakikitang mali sa ginawa niya,” said Clemen Pariñas, a fan.</p><p>Another supporter, Gerald Fajardo, expressed his frustration over the results.</p><p>“Ngayon nagtatagisan &#x27;yung puso ko kasi binigay niya lahat. Kitang-kita mo nung nabigyan siya ng pagkakataon sa Top 30. For me, execution very good, so hanggang ngayon ang laking question—bakit hindi nakapasok? Ano&#x27;ng dahilan,” they said.</p><p>Chelsea’s former school directress, Leonila delos Santos Villarico, was also present during the viewing and shared her disappointment.</p><p>“Very disappointed ako d’yan. Hindi ko inaasahan na mangyayari ito kay Chelsea. Nakita natin ang performance ng bata simula pa lang—talagang kaiba ang kanyang mga kilos. Kahit ihilera siya sa mga tinawag, number one pa rin si Chelsea.”</p><p>Despite the heartbreak, Chelsea’s supporters agree that her journey in Miss Universe 2024 was nothing short of inspiring.
