Hizon is glad to be back on television and be with the ABS-CBN News family.

"Wow, my wildest dreams, I never thought that I will be back on broadcast news and it's great to be part of the ABS-CBN family. It's a great experience to work with ... to be standing side by side with premiere anchors and broadcast journalists in the industry," the anchor said.

"ABS-CBN is one of the vanguards, one of the pillars in news and currents and I'm really, really very proud and honored to part of ABS-CBN and my weekly program 'Beyond The Exchange with Rico Hizon'," he added.

He also enjoyed sharing the news in the "Star Patrol" segment of "TV Patrol."

"Pinapanood ko lang ang 'TV Patrol' which is the number 1 primetime newscast in the country and I never even thought of myself reading the news on that very iconic set of 'TV Patrol'," Hizon said.

"It's just so surreal. It was just like a dream come true. Who would have ever thought that having work with international networks like CNBC Business News, BBC World News, and then CNN (Philippines), that I would be here at ABS-CBN (News) and reading reports on 'TV Patrol.' It's like a dream come true," he added.

"I've been watching 'TV Patrol' for many, many decades with Kabayan (Noli de Castro) with Karen (Davila), with Bernadette Sembrano, and Henry Omaga-Diaz, now Alvin Elchico. To be around them, it's a great feeling. It's hard to describe with words what just transpired being there on set of 'TV Patrol' but it's a great feeling and I'm really inspired that I am continuing my broadcast journalism career with ABS-CBN and the ABS-CBN News Channel."

With his show, Hizon hopes that people would be inspired on how their subjects grew their businesses.

"I think they're an inspiration to many of our kababayans because they are micro, small, and medium enterprises ... they're very inspirational," the anchor said.

"They started from the bottom and made their way towards a successful entrepeneurship business. So, it's very important that a lot of our kababayans, Filipinos who are watching us here and overseas learn about their success stories, their management styles on how they could be successful entrepeneurs," he added.
