Handout </div><div> </div>MANILA -– Ballet Philippines will bring a fresh and exciting twist to its Christmas season with a full-length production of &quot;Peter Pan,&quot; running from December 6 to 8 at the Theatre at Solaire.The performance is part of the company’s 55th  season and promises to deliver a captivating experience for audiences of all ages.This newly reimagined version of the classic tale introduces a completely revamped libretto, original music, stunning sets, and brand-new choreography.In an exclusive press preview, Ballet Philippines president Kathleen Liechtenstein shared that the production offers something entirely new while still preserving the heartwarming essence of the familiar story.“We expect you to see a different show. It’s an entirely new production. New libretto, new music, new sats, new costumes, [and] new choreography,” Liechtenstein said. “We are gearing up towards entertainment value. We aim to get the highest for that and expect more families to enjoy, come, and celebrate Christmas together with the entire [family].”The decision to stage &quot;Peter Pan&quot; was straightforward. Liechtenstein explained that the story&#x27;s themes of joy, positivity, and family values make it a perfect fit for the Christmas season, particularly in the context of Filipino culture. “It was very easy for us to choose Peter Pan because Peter Pan has you know, the story. It’s a very happy story. It talks about positivity. It talks about family values,” Liechtenstein noted.Artistic director Mikhail &quot;Misha&quot; Martynyuk emphasized that this production of &quot;Peter Pan&quot; represents a unique interpretation of classical ballet. “&#x27;Peter Pan&#x27; is absolutely classical ballet. This is my new version. My interpretation.
