Cozy games you can play with your 'ka-duo' this Valentine's

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.

When restaurants and hotels are fully booked, lounging on the couch with your partner while playing cozy games is also an option. Cozy games provide a sense of calm especially when you want to veer away from playing more competitive (and unforgiving) titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Valorant or League of Legends.

 It Takes Two

With all the acclaim it’s gotten over the last few years, It Takes Two is a must-play on this list.

It revolves around estranged couple Cody and May, who suddenly find themselves in the dreams of their child. What makes this game extra unique is being able to navigate the characters towards character development.

The game works for long-distance couples, thanks to their co-op features, or on a split-screen if you want to do this in one place together.

Overcooked

Okay, Overcooked isn’t exactly cozy, but it is a fun game to play when you want to look back, and have a good laugh at a clip of your significant other frantically yelling for you to pass the cheese on a shaky air blimp.

Control the cutest-looking chefs in Onion Kingdom and navigate through many kitchen hazards and obstacles to get orders across. There are also a good number of downloadable content (DLC) available if you want to tweak your food options. It may be one of the most hectic titles on this list, but if you want a chaotic yet wholesome night of cooking, this may be the right game for you.

Moving Out

Like Overcooked, Moving Out could in a way simulate a potential future with your partner. Through cute characters, players have to move out furniture before the time runs out, and your pace will determine how you can chuck items into the moving truck.

 Farworld Pioneers

Farworld Pioneers, which was released last year, is an open world survival crafting game revolving around managing colonies on alien planets.

Couples can play on their own private servers, but if you're spending Valentine's alone (granting that you even made it a point to see this list), you can play with random players online.

It doesn't take much space for players to run this game, requiring a minimum of Windows 7 as OS, an Intel i5 processor, and 1 GB available space.
