Jose Carretero, ABS-CBN News</figcaption></figure></div>MANILA — Around 58 life-sized images of saints are being showcased in a Lenten exhibit in a mall in Marikina City. Dubbed as Lugod, the exhibit was spearheaded by the mall in partnership with the San Jose Manggagawa Parish. Among the images in the exhibit is the Santo Intierro or the Statue of the Dead Christ. There is also a life-size image of The Last Supper and La Pieta.   Nel Anthonnette Cavite, the mall supervisor said, the owners of the images, called Camameros, came from different places in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.“Yung mga images natin galing siya sa Maynila, sa Tondo, meron din tayo na galing sa Rizal at siyempre dito sa Marikina. Ito po ay para ipaalala sa lahat na mga mall goers natin yung Cuaresma, yung ating lenten so huwag nating kalimutan sa araw araw nating pagkabuhay ang pagpapasalamat natin sa panginoon,&quot; she said.  <ul class="op-related-articles"><li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/2/15/pope-urges-catholics-to-swap-social-media-for-reflection-as-lent-begins-957">Pope urges Catholics to swap social media for reflection as Lent begins</a></li></ul> The exhibit is being staged prior to Holy Week as the images will be showcased in Lenten processions in their respective parishes.“Una talaga ito sa mga activity ng parish dahil after nito meron silang mga Visita Iglesia, and mga procession na ginaganap,” she said.   Many mallgoers welcomed the staging of the exhibit. Niña Olivar and her family who are visiting Marikina from Bato, Camarines Sur said they didn&#x27;t miss the chance to witness the exhibit when they learned about it. Olivar even showed images of saints in a Lenten procession in their hometown. “Maganda, na-experience namin ang Holy Week,” she said.   The exhibit is open until March 3.
