MANILA -- Did you know that some of the animators of all-time favorite cartoons like Scooby-Doo, Teen Titans Go, and Looney Tunes are Filipinos?Snipple Animation Studios has been giving life to some of the most iconic cartoon characters for 13 years running.Speaking on ANC&#x27;s Business Roadshow, James Arboleda, the studio&#x27;s marketing chief, said Filipinos are hired globally for their skills and their style of humor.&quot;We’re doing mostly Western-style animation. That’s because of--I think our Western inclination, our culture, our humor is always towards the Western type of humor.&quot;&quot;Even some of our mannerisms are Westernized,&quot; he added.Arboleda said they are working on a big project--an 80-episode show--but he refused to disclose the title.&quot;Mostly the children from the 90s or towards the first part of 2000s are familiar with the title,&quot; he said.<div>--ANC, 17 April 2024</div>
