For the first time, the company has developed its own special power management chip called Cheetah X1. This chip ensures efficient power usage during charging and lays the foundation for All-Round FastCharge 2.0.

Here is how it works:

Versatile scene support - This lets the phone handle different charging functions like Multi-Speed FastCharge, Bypass Charging Mode, Reverse Charge Mode, and multi-protocol fast charge.

High-precision power detection - real-time monitoring of how much current is being delivered into the phone, preventing overheating.

Safety protection - There are 63 different safety measures built in, so you can fast charge without worrying about any issues.

100W Multi-Speed Fast Charging

The NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G  comes with 100W Multi-Speed Fast Charging. Plus, it has a 4600 mAh battery that can still stay 80% healthy even after being fully charged and discharged 1600 times. This is a 60% improvement compared to the previous model.

The smartphone also allows users to take control of how they charge their phones.

Upon connecting the charging cable, a pop-up window allows the user to select the charging mode:

Hyper mode - charges up to 50% in 8 minutes 

Low-temp mode - keeps your phone cool, making sure it doesn't get too hot while charging. On average, it is 6-10°C cooler than Hyper Mode. 

Smart mode - Strikes a balance between rapid charge and rising temperature speeds

Wireless MagCharge

The NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G has the ability to support both 20W wireless charging and magnetic suction. To ensure users make the most of this magnetic feature, Infinix has included their specially developed Infinix MagKit, which comprises a MagCase (phone case) and a MagPad (magnetic charging pad), all included when you purchase the phone.

Sharing power

The charging capabilities of the NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G go beyond its own needs as it can share its power with other mobile phones and USB devices.

There are two simple ways to use this reverse charging feature:

1. Using wired charging to achieve a maximum of 10W.
2. Using wireless charging to achieve a maximum of 5W.

The NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G introduces upgrades such as ByPass Charging 2.0 to minimize heat buildup and protect the battery life during heavy usage like gaming or watching videos, Extreme Cold Charging that can withstand extreme cold conditions, Smart Overnight Charge which uses AI to prevent overnight charging, and Universal Charging with USB C PD3.0 compatibility, requiring only one cable for multiple devices.

The NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G boasts ample processing power. It features memory fusion technology that activates idle RAM, boosting the phone's capacity from 12GB to up to 24GB RAM. This allows the device to handle multiple background applications with ease.

Equipped with the advanced MTK D7020 5G chip, it also offers seamless 5g connectivity and high-speed performance for downloads, streaming, and browsing. 

Plus, with 5G Call & Data Concurrency 3.0, users can use one SIM card for gaming or downloading while keeping SIM 2 free for calling simultaneously.
