MANILA -- After days of dropping hints online, Jollibee has finally unveiled its newest collaboration featuring acclaimed toy designer Quiccs Maiquez, who is best known for his TEQ63 figures.
For the uninitiated, TEQ63 combines Quiccs' passions -- Japanese robots, hip-hop, and graffiti culture -- with his love for the Philippines. Carrying the Philippines' country code, the toy comes in multiple colorways and three sizes -- the 12-inch Megateq, the 6-inch standard, and the 3-inch Microteq.

The Jollibee TEQ63 collab features all three sizes, each including a packaging inspired by the homegrown fast food chain's spaghetti and palabok boxes. These will be first made available at the TOYCON 2024, which will be held from June 14 to 16 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Naturally, these won't come cheap: a set including all three figures will cost you P25,000, while the 6-inch and 3-inch figures can be bought separately for P6,500 and P3,500 each, respectively. Only 150 sets will be initially available at TOYCON 2024, and 100 pieces each for the smaller toys.

Quiccs assured, however, that there will be enough for everyone. "The rest will be coming very soon, like in one to two weeks... We will do allocations, and if the physical stocks get sold out, we'll deliver it for free naman sa mga mag-preorder. Everyone in the line will be accommodated," he told members of the media during the Jollibee TEQ63 launch, adding that they will give more updates soon.
