Torrential rains didnt dampen the mood as thousands trooped to Quezon Memorial Circle for the Love Laban 2 Everyone’ Pride PH Festival 2024. Members of the LGBTQ community, along with allies joined the festivities that aims for acceptance, not just tolerance, in Catholic-majority Philippines.

Aside from various booths and performances, the festival also included two Pride Marches. Love Pride March kicked off in Tomas Morato while Love Pride March started at the Quezon City city hall. Both groups headed towards Quezon Memorial Circle for several performances.

This year’s march also marked 30 years since Asia’s first pride march, also in Quezon City.

The festival also serves as a platform to discuss various issues such as marriage equality, human rights, and HIV/AIDS awareness among other things.
