Organizers have finally announced a date and host country for this year's Miss Charm pageant. 

The competition will kick off in the United States on August 12, with the coronation night to be held on August 24, according to a post on the Miss Charm Facebook page on Monday.

"The journey of Miss Charm 2024 has officially begun," read the post. "With the mission to promote culture, tourism, and education, spreading human and positive values to society, this year's pageant will gather outstanding representatives from various countries to converge in the United States -- the 'Land of Dreams.' Here, they will come together to create a remarkable journey on the Miss Charm 2024 stage."

The Philippines has yet to have an official representative in Miss Charm 2024, following the withdrawal of Krishnah Gravidez earlier this month. 

Some pageant fans are speculating that Cyrille Payumo, who was recently crowned Miss Charm Philippines 2025, will take her place in this year's competition.

Luma Russo of Brazil was crowned as the first-ever Miss Charm last year, with the Philippines' Annabelle McDonnell finishing as first runner-up.
