"The Philippines is one of those emerging markets. And people are more tolerant to new ideas, platforms, and systems. We want to try our proposals to a market more tolerant to new ideas. We are looking for gathering a lot of feedback from Filipino gamers to improve our assets," said Ray Nakazato, CRETA's chief creative officer.

"Games are changing quickly. There is massive opportunity for new games… You have to be connected to what gamers are doing. It is continuing to evolve, being aware, being tapped in, and being open — just because you play games a certain way does not mean games will stay that way," Vu said.

According to Nakazato, they will be launching beta tests for several games later this year in the country. "We are gradually releasing our services. We will test some of the games, multiverse, and the game creation tool will come the last. First beta testing then launching, one by one," he explained.

"Kingdom Under Rise is our epic RPG fantasy. We also have Tokyo Wars, it is an anime-style video game. It is in development. That is to be announced. Multiverse itself has a game, shooting — and we call it Dayroot. It is a metaverse shooting game. In addition to that, we have a group of products to look forward to," he added. "The innovation will be backed by 'revolutionary high performance parented Game Chain Technology,' Locus Chain, which seeks to provide unlimited scalability, faster performance, higher security, and minimum e-waste."

The technology eliminates the use of servers. "We will always have this tension. The social media we have— you are the product. With service technology, our goal is to have your own data. If it is not a centralized server, you can own the data. Even in some experiments the team ran internally, they are already communicating on their own platforms to outside servers. Everything talked about in the company, stays within that company," Vu said.

"We decided to use locus chain as our fundamental blockchain. It is very fast, very scalable. We will be using this technology to realize some of this online gaming. Games use cloud. We will eliminate data. It is a pseudo server. There will be no server. That will make the cost of running the service very low. It will be a very friendly system. It is unlimited scalability. Because it is on chain it could be one million in the same place," Nakasato said.
