But with proper care, love, and training, they become more disciplined and intelligent than they already are — just like Barako and his siblings.</p><p>With some 546,000 followers on Facebook, the Barako Family shares good vibes on social media by showcasing the amazing tricks and cuteness of the 17 aspins owned by 48-year old Fernando Bote Jr. and his wife. </p><p>Bote said their family’s first fur baby was Lola Milky, who lived for 13 years. She was also the first dog that he trained. </p><p>&quot;Noong doon pa po kay Lola Milky, paminsan-minsan lang &#x27;yung pagka-train kasi nga may trabaho. Kung pag-Sunday lang, basic lang &#x27;yung mga tinuturo ko noong una. &#x27;Yung shake hands, &#x27;yung higa, tapos maupo,&quot; he said.</p><p>When the pandemic struck, Bote finally had the time and focus to train one of their other dogs, Barako, who learned the &quot;mano,&quot; a gesture of giving respect and seeking blessing from elders. Because dogs love in different ways, it is also essential that owners have a great deal of patience in trying to understand their behavior, he said. </p><p>&quot;Sana mabago &#x27;yung tingin nila sa mga katulad na local dogs na hindi lang sila bantay sa bahay. Meron din silang puso at meron silang halaga,&quot;  Bote said.</p>
