Handout </div>An upcoming festival is putting a spotlight on the gastronomic delights of Tagaytay.The first-ever Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival will feature chefs and restaurants that have helped mold the city&#x27;s dining culture. It will be held on two weekends -- July 12 and 13, and 20 and 21. First on the lineup is the Grand Tasting at 6 p.m. at Anya Resort. For P3,950 per person, guests can savor the creations of Anya Resort&#x27;s Chris Leaning, Taal Vista&#x27;s Jayme Natividad, View Park Hotel&#x27;s Siglo Restaurant, Flour Pot Bistro &amp; Bakery&#x27;s Rhea SyCip, Elaia by Cyma&#x27;s Robby Goco, Pamana and Tsokolateria&#x27;s Happy Ongpauco, Ribchon&#x27;s Tristan Bayani, Lula Cafe&#x27;s Dan Puga, Farmers Table&#x27;s Kalel Chan, Asador by Dos Mestizos&#x27; Binggoy Remedios, Reynaldo&#x27;s Steakhouse, and Papa Bolo Microbrewery. Also featured here is the Slow Food Community from Cavite, which will represent local farmers. At 6 p.m. on July 13 at The Fatted Calf, chefs Jayjay SyCip, Rhea SyCip, and Pilgrim Davao&#x27;s Jeramie Go will collaborate on a Harvest Dinner menu that can be enjoyed at P4,500 per person. This will be followed by a sunset session at Luxe at 180 by Chef Sau del Rosario at 4 p.m. on July 20. For P4,500 per person, guests can enjoy a Truffle and Caviar dinner by Del Rosario, Australia&#x27;s Oliver Buenviaje, and Emirates&#x27; John Buenaventura.A Heritage Buffet will be held at 11:30 a.m. on July 21 at the Veranda Restaurant of Taal Vista Hotel. For P2,200, diners can try the lunch buffet featuring the talents of Taal Vista Hotel&#x27;s Natividad and the SyCips of The Fatted Calf. Capping off the festival is the inaugural Creative Bulalo Challenge. In collaboration with the Tagaytay City Tourism Council, restaurants from Tagaytay will compete in this culinary showdown, where they will present their most innovative selection of the beloved dish. The competition will culminate in September at the Tagaytay Picnic Grove.
