An American lifestyle magazine has released its latest list of top luxury hotels in the world, and a private island resort in Palawan once again made the cut. 

For the second consecutive year, Banwa Private Island is included in Robb Report's "Greatest 50 Luxury Hotels on Earth" list, which was selected by the magazine's 22 "travel masters." 

"We are deeply honored to be named [among] Robb Report's Top 50 Luxury Hotels once again," Janet Oquendo, island manager of Banwa Private Island, said in a statement.

"To be included among such prestigious properties is a true privilege," she added. 

Nestled within the pristine marine sanctuary of northeastern Palawan, Banwa Private Island offers an intimate retreat with its six contemporary villas and dedicated staff. 

Guests have the option book a villa or exclusively charter the whole island.
