Photo by Ched Rick Gatchalian, ABS-CBN News.</div>MANILA — Back to fulfill its goal of having a million new readers, Big Bad Wolf has opened on Tuesday at the Trinoma Activity Center on Quezon City for those who were able to get VIP passes.The biggest book sale in the world will have its general sale for bookworms, authors, and publishers from August 7 to 15. Photo by Ched Rick Gatchalian, ABS-CBN NewsBig Bad Wolf Philippines managing partner Carol Chuaying, co-founder Jacqueline Ng, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, and Malaysian Ambassador Dato&#x27; Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino bin Anthony held a program to officially mark the grand book sale&#x27;s opening.</div>Chuaying highlighted the need to support local works and publishers, calling on indie publisher Pia Perez to invite readers and writers to patronize Filipino books.&quot;If you want your kids to value basic Filipino language and all our regional languages, local indie publishers prioritize the Filipino language in our books,&quot; Perez said.&quot;We get to know so many moms telling us na problema daw ng mga anak nila na mababa ang grades sa Filipino. Napakalungkot po kasi mga Pilipino tayo.
