Ronald Day, former president of entertainment and chief operating officer at the Spanish-language television network Telemundo, now takes the helm at MUO, as announced on Wednesday.

Telemundo was a broadcast partner in last year's Miss Universe pageant in Mexico, which was won by Victoria Theilvig of Denmark.

The role of CEO was previously held by Anne Jakrajutatip, who is also a co-owner of MUO and its sister pageants, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA.

Also part of the organization is another Thai entrepreneur, Miss Grand International founder Nawat Itsaragrisil, who sits as MUO executive director.
