Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda paid her first visit to broadcaster Karmina Constantino's modern chic home in San Juan City, which was shown on her vlog on Sunday.

Impressed by the house's elevator, balcony, artwork, and antique and contemporary pieces of furniture that complete the overall appearance, Vice told Constantino that she had always wanted to interview her, especially after seeing a viral video of the latter saying, “Mataray ako. Maldita ako. Masungit ako. Everything. Pero mabait din kasi ako.”

“Nagba-viral ang kanyang mga interview dahil walang habas ang kanyang matapang na pagtatanong sa mga personalidad lalong-lalo na sa pulitika. Sabi ko, ‘Parang ang interesting [na] makausap ka,’” the “It’s Showtime” host said.

The latest vlog, which has received a lot of positive feedback from netizens, also highlighted Constantino’s funny side, as opposed to her regular broadcaster style.

The two participated in two segments: one in which the Phenomenal Superstar showed images of celebrities, and the other in which Constantino was asked to deliver breaking news, although the material was humorous.

They talked about controversial personalities including Harry Roque, Mocha Uson, and famous stars Marian Rivera and Piolo Pascual.

Role of media

From her heated interviews to election coverage, Constantino has gained a following by asking tough questions of high-profile leaders and giving news that matters.

When asked how she keeps her composure when interviewing powerful politicians, Constantino stated that her bravery stems from a strong sense of responsibility.

“I have to say, takot ako ha. May takot. Pero mas nangingibabaw kasi sa'kin 'yung responsibilidad ko sa bayan at prinsipyo. Because hindi puwedeng palagpasin na ang dami nang nangyayari,” she told the Kapamilya star.

The ANC anchor went on to remark that as a journalist, it is her responsibility to ask matters that concern the nation and people.

“Alam mong hindi na biro 'yung pinagdadaanan ng bansa natin. Bakit pa ako magpapatumpik-tumpik to hold them to account?

"Kapag may kailangan nilang sagutin, sagutin nila. So doon lang din naman nanggagaling ‘yung tapang. I really don’t think that it’s tapang. ‘Yun naman dapat talaga ang ginagawa,” she said.

“Uunahan mo na 'yung kaba. Alam mo na na, 'Okay, may kapangyarihan.' So doon ako sa issue,” she added.

Constantino also underlined that she handles all guests with respect, noting that they deserve decency but are not exempt to challenging questions.

“Ang tawag kasi natin sa kanila, guests. So doon ako nagmumula. I treat them as guests. Pag pinapasok mo sa bahay, siyempre may respeto. Guests silang inimbitahan, therefore you have to accord them the due courtesy and the due respect. So doon ako nagmumula. Pero hindi nangangahulugan na palalagpasin ko. Siyempre, magtatanong pa rin ako in a respectful way,” she shared.

Constantino also revealed that Kiko Pangilinan, Leni Robredo, Chiz Escudero, and Tito Sotto were among the memorable guests on her show.
