'Delia D' musical extended, adds more dates

MANILA -- Due to overwhelming love and support from theatergoers, "Delia D.: A Musical Featuring the Songs of Jonathan Manalo" has extended its run.

Additional performances were added on June 14 at  8 p.m. and June 15 at 3 p.m., with special encore shows on June 28 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m..

Tickets are available at TicketWorld, HelixPay, and Newport World Resorts Box Office: PHP 3,500 (SVIP), PHP 3,000 (VIP), PHP 2,500 (Gold), PHP 1,800 (Silver), and PHP 1,000 (Bronze). 

"Delia D." is the 11th major theatrical offering from Newport World Resorts’ production outfit, Full House Theater Company.

The musical tells the story of Delia (Phi Palmos), a drag queen who joins a singing contest. Delia is lifted by the relentless support of her biological mom Anet (Joann Yap Co) and her drag mother, Mama Eme (John "Sweet" Lapus).
