Lillian Suwanrumpha, AFP/File </div>MANILA (UPDATED) — Thai businesswoman Anne Jakrajutatip is temporarily leaving her board positions at JKN Global Group but will remain as the chief executive officer of the Miss Universe Organization.JKN and MUO both announced this on Saturday in separate statements following the circulation of unconfirmed reports alleging that Jakrajutatip had exited her executive roles in both organizations.&quot;In light of recent allegations, JKN Global Group Public Company Limited wishes to announce that Anne Jakrajutatip has decided to temporarily step down from her management position,&quot; JKN said.This comes as several news sites — including aleast three Thai news outlets — alleged that Jakrajutatip resigned from her board positions at JKN and is expected to leave the CEO position of MUO.Thai online news platform <a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.kaohooninternational.com/markets/559013">Kaohoon International reported</a> that following the complaint filed by Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding accusations of falsified financial statements, Jakrajutatip had supposedly resigned from JKN effective June 5 onwards.JKN said Jakrajutatip&#x27;s departure is to allow her to prove her innocence. The company also clarified that she will serve as MUO&#x27;s CEO.&quot;We want to emphasize that Anne&#x27;s commitment to the Miss Universe Organization remains steadfast. She will continue to serve in her role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Miss Universe Organization, where her dedication to empowering women and uplifting voices around the world is unwavering,&quot; it stressed.The MUO cleared air as well on its leadership structure, reaffirming that Jakrajutatip is still its CEO.&quot;We categorically deny any reports suggesting a change in leadership within the organization. Anne Jakrajutatip remains the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Miss Universe Organization, and Raúl Rocha continues to serve as President. There have been no modifications to our executive structure,&quot; it said. &quot;These rumors are entirely false and do not reflect the internal operations or direction of our organization. Under the continued leadership of Ms. Jakrajutatip and Mr. Rocha, the Miss Universe Organization remains committed to its mission of empowering women worldwide and producing a global platform for voices of ambition, purpose, and change,&quot; it added.
