Miss World Asia 2025 Krishnah Gravidez delivered Monday a powerful speech that resonated with messages of grit, compassion, and pride in her Filipino and Asian roots.

“As a proud Filipina, I can say that this journey is not built on glamour, but in grit,” Gravidez said during a press conference at the Grand Westside Hotel

With her advocacy "Color the World with Kindness," a community initiative focused on empowering children by rebuilding schools and homes across underserved area, Gravidez continued to talk about how she wishes to further inspire Filipinas with her title.

“We believe every child deserves a space to dream,” she emphasized.

“I believe that this title, it carries a story of inspiration, not just for my community, but for the whole world, especially dedicated to young girls as well, who were told that they're too different, too strong, too fierce, too small, or too ambitious to make an impact.”

The titleholder shared a reminder that these traits are not weaknesses, but superpowers.

“Our Asian heritage is a profound source of our strength and compassion,” she said.

She also extended gratitude to the Miss World and Miss World Philippines organizations, especially Arnold Vegafria, along with her family, team, and the Filipino people.

“This title is not just for me, not just for the Philippines, not just for Asia, it’s for every girl who dreams to be in this position,” she said.

With her win, Gravidez added another proud chapter to the Philippines’ strong presence in the Miss World competition after Megan Young’s triumph in 2013.

She now has her goals set to continue her studies taking up civil engineering, grow as a recording artist, become a host and a pageant mentor.

Her message for more aspiring queens: “There’s always going to be a change, but as I’ve always said you have to know what you really want and how you want to do it.”

“If you know within your heart kung ano talaga gusto mo, then you will never be lost.”

Krishnah shared that one of her biggest takeaways from the competition is to also have a good heart.

“Sometimes people will say you’re chasing the wrong dreams or you’re on the wrong path, but what really matters is what’s within your heart.”

Vegrafia, acknowledging the difficulty of this year’s competition, expressed how proud he still is for Gravidez.

“Krishnah, to me, is still our rightful queen simply because we [saw] how you fought well and carried yourself with impeccable elegance and style.”
