<div><br/></div><p>Torrance, CA  — The vibrant sights, sounds, and flavors of the Philippines came alive at the Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance recently, as the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles and the Department of Tourism (DOT) hosted the “Love the Philippines Fiesta.”</p><div><br/></div><p>The one-day cultural showcase drew hundreds of Filipino Americans, Asian Americans, and local Angelenos to one of L.A.’s largest malls, immersing them in Philippine tourism, food, and artistry. Guests also enjoyed free scoops of the now-trending ube ice cream—a sweet taste of the Philippines’ rich culinary culture.</p><div><br/></div><p>The celebration also offered travel consultations, giveaways, and a grand raffle where lucky participants won all-expenses-paid trips to top destinations like Boracay, Cebu, Bohol, and Batangas. Raffle entries were submitted via social media using the hashtag #LoveThePhilippinesFiesta.</p><div><br/></div><p>With the summer campaign will continue through August—highlighted by a “Love the Philippines” double-decker bus rolling through Hollywood—the message is clear: now is the perfect time to rediscover the Philippines.</p>
