HK’s Bar Leone tops Asia's 50 Best Bars list for 2nd consecutive year

MACAU -- Asia’s 50 Best Bars has just announced its 10th edition live ceremony that was hosted by Macau for the first time at the majestic Wynn Palace on Tuesday, July 15.

Bar Leone from Hong Kong was named Asia’s Best Bar at the annual Asia’s 50 Best Bars ceremony for the second consecutive year in a row. Crowd favorite Zest from Seoul, Korea came in second like last year, followed by Singapore’s Jigger and Pony. 

The Philippines’ Curator was earlier ranked 78th on the extended list announced last July 3.

Cyrene de la RosaThe annual list of Asia’s 50 Best Bars is curated from the votes of the Asia’s 50 Best Bars Academy, an influential and anonymous, gender-balanced group of 265 industry leaders from across the region, including bartenders, bar owners, drinks writers and cocktail experts.

This year’s list had a total of 20 new entries, which explained the high number of bars dropping from the top 50 list.
