Handout</div>MANILA — The Westin Manila has opened Aire32, a rooftop bar and events space on the 32nd floor, completing the development of the five-star Ortigas business district property.Perched at the hotel’s highest point, Aire32 offers panoramic views of the sunset and the Ortigas skyline. The al fresco venue blends fine casual dining with a beverage program built around sustainability, local sourcing, and mindful consumption.“Pronounced as ai-re, which means ‘air,’ the space was designed for social experiences rooted in conscious connection and balance,” hotel general manager Alexander Dietzsch said. “Every drink is a toast to life, a celebration of family and friends, complemented with relaxing views and comfort food.”The cocktail menu includes low-alcohol options and well-balanced mocktails intended for guests seeking a lighter, more mindful drinking experience. Spirits are sourced from small-batch producers that avoid artificial additives, while surplus ingredients and seasonal produce are incorporated into many recipes.“We believe that utilizing surplus ingredients, local produce and flavors, and artisanal drinks is a starting point for creativity, imagination, and community collaboration,” Dietzsch said.Food offerings center on tapas and pica-pica inspired by the Spanish lifestyle of leisurely snacking and conversation. Several dishes come directly from the kitchen of Cantabria by Chele Gonzalez, the hotel’s Spanish restaurant specializing in cuisine from the country’s northern coast.Aire32’s interiors follow the Westin brand’s biophilic design philosophy, which aims to connect guests with nature. The muted color palette, natural materials, and contemporary details create a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere, with patterns and textures that echo natural imagery.The space accommodates various seating arrangements, from bar stools and lounge chairs to dining tables, and includes a glass-enclosed private dining room for up to 75 guests. The venue can be booked for intimate weddings, corporate functions, or private celebrations.One of Aire32’s signature features is its wall projection system, which can display sports broadcasts, presentations, or custom visuals for events.
