As recorded at Luke 22:19, he instructed: “Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” That directive continues to resonate across cultures and continents, uniting attendees in a shared reflection on faith and the promise of renewal. Last year, more than 21 million people worldwide attended the observance -- an indication of its enduring relevance in an increasingly fragmented world. The annual campaign surrounding the event is marked not by spectacle, but by personal invitations -- neighbors speaking to neighbors, families reaching out to friends—offering a moment of pause, reflection, and spiritual clarity. Both the Lord’s Evening Meal and all related gatherings hosted by Jehovah’s Witnesses are free and open to the public.
