Salterio </div>The Orient Pearl in Bonifacio Global City, known for its seafood offerings, will soon be known as The Pearl Room. &quot;It doesn&#x27;t match with the menu that we have,&quot; said the owner of the restaurant, Dr. Anne Irigo, as she shared the reason behind the rebranding. They decided to change the name because The Orient Pearl is &quot;very Chinese,&quot; causing people to assume a different menu.&quot;When we checked, there was also a Chinese restaurant in Caloocan [with the same name]. So we are rebranding. We have the same menu, but the name will be changed,&quot; she explained. The Orient Pearl&#x27;s older branch in Poblacion, which opened in March 2020 and has a more casual feel compared to the newer BGC restaurant., will also be known as The Pearl Room. &quot;We sell oysters by piece until you want more,&quot; Irigo said. &quot;You can order just one piece if you want to taste it. You can order it fresh, baked, grilled, or fried.&quot;The 200-square-meter The Pearl Room in BGC celebrates Asian coastal flavors, and every visit feels like a rediscovery of the sea. Be it a casual meal or a milestone celebration, the restaurant invites guests to indulge in a dining experience that&#x27;s both elevated and approachable, where conversations flow as easily as the cocktails.During a recent media lunch, we enjoyed a lovely ten-course menu that included tuna carpaccio, oyster ceviche, crab claw, grilled seafood dynamite, fish and chips, grilled octopus barbecue, shiro garlic butter sea shrimps, whole roasted ginger chicken, slow-cooked oxtail in spicy tomato sauce, crispy pork knuckles, and fresh baked oysters.How The Pearl Room handles its farm-to-table oysters was given foremost attention in the menu. Every day, it makes sure the oysters are served fresh by diligently tracking their temperature and delivery time. The restaurant advises customers to eat oysters on a full stomach. It nevertheless keeps samples for up to ten days so if any negative feedback arises, it is prepared to take action quickly and efficiently.Aside from seafood, The Pearl Room also has meals for pets, with choices like chicken, beef, or liver with vegetables, or simply pure veggies so furry friends can share the dining experience with their owners.
