Yes, there's a 'hidden' Facebook messenger inbox

Apparently, Facebook has another inbox, where filtered messages go. A lot of messages may be spam but there could be valid messages too.

This folder is still different from the inbox where Facebook users see message requests from people who they are not friends with.

The "hidden inbox" contains messages filtered by Facebook, meaning that If the social media platform thinks a message is spam, then it will go directly to this inbox.

Here's how to find your "hidden inbox":

1. On Facebook Messenger, click "Settings" on upper right corner (lower right corner for iOS).

2. On settings, click "People."

3. Open "Message Requests"

4. Click "See Filtered Requests"
