There's a wide variety of Android smartphones available locally, from the high-end brands to very affordable models. Android devices have given Filipinos the ability to perform productivity tasks or enhance their leisure activities through free or low-priced Android apps.

But there may be times when these apps may be used more easily in a desktop environment. There's one device that's designed to be a mini PC that let's a user run it as an extension of an Android smartphone.

Meet Remix Mini, the world's first "true" Android PC. Ryan Trinidad of BanBros Commercial Incorporated explained that, unlike other similar products, Remix runs on Remix OS, which was created in collaboration with Google.

Just like regular desktop computers, the Remix's operating system can also be upgraded.
