Handout</div>Despite the fact that lung health is a vital aspect of overall wellbeing, there is still much to be done to inform and support local communities regarding respiratory health issues.Recognizing the critical role that lung health plays in overall well-being, Watsons, a major retailer of health and wellness products, is dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of lung care by supporting the campaign of the Philippine College of Chest Physicians (PCCP).Last October 26, the Run, Walk, and Wag fun run took place at Liwasang Ulalim, CCP Complex in Pasay City. Runners, health advocates, Miss Earth candidates, and Watsons Philippines representatives joined together to promote lung health and wellness by taking part in the fun run and other activities.The ceremony began with Dr. Janeth Samson&#x27;s opening remarks and Dr. Jubert Benedicto&#x27;s welcoming speech. Gunstart for 10km was at 4:30 a.m., 4:45 a.m. for 5km, 4:50 a.m. for 3km, and 4:55 a.m. for 1.5km for individuals with or without pets.Watsons and its partner companies -- Unilab, Reckitt, Himalaya Vajomba, and Tiger Balm -- demonstrated their respective lifestyle, health, and wellness products that support respiratory wellbeing, as well as held engaging games and awarded exciting prizes to event attendees.The race winners were announced at 7 a.m., followed by closing speeches, which marked the formal end of the program.The Run, Walk, and Wag Run has not only encouraged public participation in boosting lung health and community wellness, but it has also acted as a fundraising event for PCCP&#x27;s lay projects, which give education, awareness, and support to communities in need around the region.The PCCP is the Philippines&#x27; primary specialty organization for pulmonary medicine, responsible for setting standards in training and practice.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1762158447884image1 (1).jpeg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt="Watsons Philippines&#x27; Bea Armada (Marketing Manager), Stefh Medina (Assistant Marketing Manager), Jedrick Aguilar (Marketing Operations Support), and Darcy Co (Group Category Manager, Health Business) together with PCCP’s Dr. Jubert Benedicto and Dr. Janeth Samson.
