Handout</div>MANILA — Award-winning Philippine footwear designs that earned international recognition at the International Footwear Design Competition 2026 in Guangzhou, China are now on display at the SAFATOS Pilipinas Exhibition at Lucky Chinatown in Binondo.Co-presented by the Department of Science and Technology–Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) and Lucky Chinatown, the exhibition opened last June 12 in celebration of Philippine Independence Day and runs until June 30 at the mall&#x27;s atrium.The exhibit showcases sustainable, locally made footwear created by Filipino designers and artisans, highlighting innovations in textile and footwear design as well as Team Philippines&#x27; performance at the annual international competition.Among the featured works is &quot;Pakan&quot; by designer Ricmar Agas and manufactured by Konzept Shoes, which won the Overall Grand Champion title and Grand Prize Gold Award at the 2026 competition.
