Binibining Pilipinas/Facebook</div>After more than a year of preparations, Myrna Esguerra is finally representing the Philippines on the Miss International 2025 stage.During her send-off press conference on Tuesday, October 28, the beauty queen from Abra expressed her excitement not just to wear the Philippine sash, but also to travel to Japan for the first time.She will fly out on November 9, three days before the official start of Miss International&#x27;s pageant activities. The coronation night is set on November 27.&quot;I have imagined this moment in my head more than a hundred times,&quot; she said. &quot;So now, I can&#x27;t wait to go there and to shout &#x27;Philippines.&#x27;&quot;Esguerra won the opportunity to compete in Miss International during the <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/2024/7/7/another-myrna-wins-binibining-pilipinas-crown-after-60-years-707">60th edition of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant in 2024</a>. She is happy to have more than enough time to prepare for the global stage, saying she was able to immerse herself in the country&#x27;s culture and strengthen her advocacy for education.&quot;Sobrang prepared po tayo. Pilipinas/Facebook </div>On top of this, Esguerra was able to get advice from her favorite Miss International titleholder, the Philippines&#x27; Bea Rose Santiago, who won the crown in 2013.&quot;She (Santiago) taught me a lot of things that I can use for my Miss International journey,&quot; she shared. &quot;She&#x27;s such a sweet person and she&#x27;s willing to share all her knowledge and experience. And for that, I&#x27;m so grateful to her.&quot;&quot;I would like to be that kind of person who is strong but also has a compassionate heart that genuinely serves other people around her.&quot;Esguerra aims to <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2025/1/2/bb-pilipinas-international-myrna-esguerra-claims-2025-is-our-year-1342">bring home the Philippines&#x27; 7th Miss International crown</a>.
