Because right now, I&#x27;m based in Manila, but the weather here is getting crazy,&quot; she said. </p><p>&quot;We are all in this together, facing this together. So please, protektahan natin ang kalikasan. But I wanted to remind everyone to please stay safe, take care of yourselves, your family, your neighbors. As someone who has witnessed it and truly understands the pain caused by natural disasters, I deeply empathize with everyone affected. I wish to share my love, strength, and hope to all, both in the Philippines and Vietnam.&quot;</p><p>&quot;Let us stay strong, united, and continue spreading love for mother earth. We are not even at the center of the typhoon&#x27;s eye pero grabe na. What more sa mismong landfall area? Mag-ingat po ang lahat please,&quot; she <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Joymayanneee/posts/pfbid02gdfJMSA7YjsVUT3MGcEdi9t5Eip3jL9K2VrvpcFZj7Cxfkab9CGiDxo1bMcHhQ5jl">said in a Facebook post</a>. </p><p>&quot;Huwag magpanic, pero huwag din maging kampante. Stay safe, everyone,&quot; she added.</p><p><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2025/11/7/why-didn-t-joy-barcoma-win-the-crown-former-miss-earth-karen-ibasco-shares-thoughts-1418">Barcoma drew mixed reactions</a> during the recent Miss Earth 2025 coronation night as she took the opportunity during the Q&amp;A round to request for prayers for typhoon victims and survivors in the Philippines.</p><p>Even as some pageant fans believe this may have cost her the crown, Barcoma said she has no regrets.</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;ll never change what I’ve done. The Earth needs to hear what&#x27;s happening in the Philippines, especially these tragedies are repercussions of climate change and environmental abuse,&quot; she said.</p>
