MUPH/Facebook </div>Behind the poised and commanding stage presence of <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2026/5/3/bea-millan-windorski-determined-to-win-ph-s-5th-miss-universe-title-1033">Bea Millan-Windorski</a> is months of rigorous training and determination, according to pasarela coach Ian Mendajar.Mendajar, founder of Kembot Studios, revealed that when he first met Millan-Windorski, she was already aware of the areas she needed to improve.&quot;She really told me that she had to work with her pasarela,&quot; he shared. &quot;She even said, &#x27;I&#x27;m kinda confident with my Q&amp;A, but with my pasarela, no.&#x27;&quot;Taking on the challenge, Mendajar made a promise to his trainee. &quot;I told her, maybe not perfect, but I promise you that every time you walk on stage, people will talk about you,&quot; he said.The coach emphasized that progress did not come overnight, noting that even candidates with prior modeling experience require time to refine their stage walk.Still, he credited Millan-Windorski&#x27;s attitude for her rapid improvement.&quot;What I like about Bea is she&#x27;s very cooperative… hardworking and willing to learn,&quot; he said.Among their most memorable moments was a training stint in Boracay, where Millan-Windorski&#x27;s now-viral &quot;liyad&quot; pose began gaining traction online.&quot;She was so happy. She didn&#x27;t think that immediately she&#x27;d have a viral routine, and then people started tagging us,&quot; Mendajar said.With her national title secured at the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 pageant, Mendajar declared that Millan-Windorski&#x27;s performance will only continue to improve as she prepares for the international stage.He believes she will get even better in every aspect with training under Jonas Gaffud, citing the mentor&#x27;s track record with past candidates.
