Cruz, Abraham A. Catiis, Melvin C. Lam, and Allen L. Yu. Among the highlights are the Pampanga meteorite — the first found in the Philippines — the Paitan meteorite, and the Ponggo meteorite, the country’s most recent discovery.</p><p>The collection also showcases four rare international meteorites donated by David Herskowitz, Ana Ophelia Herskowitz, and Ferdinand Jolo T. Agbayani: Northwest Africa 11273, a fragment from the Moon; Sahara 99753, a stony meteorite containing primordial chondrules; Muonionalusta, an iron meteorite believed to have formed in the core of a destroyed asteroid; and Brenham, a stony-iron meteorite embedded with olivine crystals known as “space gems.”</p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1760079257220558840604_1241386794683264_7997231945447638657_n.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left"><em>National Museum of the Philippines/Facebook</em></span></span></span>Visitors can view the exhibition daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission to the National Museum of Natural History is free.</div>
