Filipino Sim Racers take the spotlight at the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines eSports GT Championship 2025

<p>In its quest to further elevate local esports by merging cutting-edge technology with world-class motorsport excitement, Toyota Motor Philippines spearheaded the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines eSports GT Championship 2025, the country’s premier sim racing competition.</p><p>Now in its refreshed edition, the tournament’s Quarterfinals, Semifinals and National Finals were held from October 11 to 12 at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Competitors raced using Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation, tackling sprint races that tested their precision, strategy, and consistency behind the wheel.</p><div><br/><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1761810788433New Project (32).jpg" style="width:600px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1761810821260New Project (33).jpg" style="width:600px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1761810852356New Project (34).jpg" style="width:600px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><br/></div><p>Following intense rounds and fierce battles on the virtual tracks, three exceptional racers pushed the limits for better and emerged as this year’s champions: Victor Ancheta (1st place), Enzo Ison (2nd place), and Matthew Ang (3rd place).</p><p>The top three racers will represent the Philippines at the TGR Asia eSports GT Championship 2025 in Thailand in November, where they will compete against some of the best sim racers in the region.
