Celebrities and internet personalities such as Solenn Heussaff and Wil Dasovich are also expected to participate in the run.&quot;This year, we have 28 music zones compared to 12 last year,&quot; said Princess Galura of organizer Sunrise Events Inc.But beyond the entertainment, the event also aims to promote tourism in Manila, as the Rock &#x27;n&#x27; Roll series draws foreign participants, organizers said. The race route highlights key landmarks in the capital, including Rizal Park, the National Museum, Manila City Hall, Jones Bridge, Binondo Church and Intramuros.This year, organizers are aiming for 9,000 participants, about five percent more than the previous year. As of Monday, 8,824 runners have already registered.Participants can claim their race kits at the Health &amp; Wellness Expo at Robinsons Place Manila, which saw lines of runners picking up their kits during its opening on Monday.Motorists can expect full road closures along the race route from late Friday, November 28, through race day on Saturday, with organizers coordinating closely with authorities on the closures.Established in 1998, the Rock &#x27;n&#x27; Roll Running Series is a road running event known for featuring live bands and other entertainment along its routes. The event takes place in cities around the world.
